i really enjoy your thoughts and appreciate your questions through the comments on here! of course you can always ask me things on formspring, which is a great platform in which everyone else can follow along. yesterday in the comment section the rancher’s wife asked for some details on my session of darling evey, and i was happy to share! so here you go, the oh-so-hush strait out of camera images from three of my favorite shots with some details too.

a few things… sorry that the settings are literally the same. i looked through to see and nope, i didn’t change it up at all except to shoot at f /1.6 for an image or two. this family had gorgeous light, which i remembered from evey’s newborn session. with a 4 month old who can only roll over i wasn’t scrambling to capture a quick toddler, so it was easy to stay at the settings i was at. perhaps sometime i’ll do this with a different type of session, i know just last night on formspring someone asked about backlighting so that might be next up in a ‘behind the camera’ post. anyhow, hopefully this helps rancher’s wife! if anything you get to see darling evey once more. happy thursday!
