i’ve shared a few of his photos with you before. imagine my delight to find these precious gems on my camera this week. he has taken a liking to “atography” (no matter how many times i correct him he says it the same way, and i quite adore it!) over christmas after much pleading and begging i introduced him to my dslr. fear not he has a tight grip and carries her like the delicate gem she is. my boy takes the time to focus, shoot, check, focus again, shoot, check. that’s right, he’s a photographer’s child. never did i pressure him with it or ask him to pick it up, he simply does, and i simply love it.
i have those first photos from the holidays to share with you soon – but had to get these up tonight. welcome to a typical day in our lives; laundry overflowing, remnants of breakfast on the couch, and a toddler in the same clothes he had on the day before. my young muse shot what he saw, imperfections and all, because really that is our every day. i brought these strait from lightroom, (because as you know a child of mine shoots in RAW) and re sized. no processing whatsoever. how pure and innocent would they be if i did my thing? what a lesson he’s taught me without even knowing it. i think i’ll have him do this more often….
