two years ago, he was snuggled warm in my womb. causing pre-term labor, already showing the strength of his personality.

one year ago i had a baby, full of delicious rolls, and sweet little baby features.
today? today i have a toddler with a heart of gold. giggles that warm your soul, and a stubborn streak i’m certain he got from me.
i’m feeling a bit nostalgic these days, after being 110% sure we were ‘done’ after him – i find myself not so sure anymore… oh but i’m enjoying the cuddles and kisses he lovingly gives upon request. the baby features that are fading fast, the mumble-jumble that is toddler talk. the gift he gives me each day. he’s a spitfire little monkey and we adore him so. as for ‘the next one’? a few years down the road i’m sure. can’t wait.
